Before proceeding with the development of Adobe forms, let’s first check whether all the necessary configurations to work with adobe forms are in place.
Firstly check by going to the control panel of your computer and see if adobe live cycle designer is installed in your computer then we will proceed for configuration check as mentioned below.
Test 1:
Step 1: Go to transaction SE38, Enter the program name FP_PDF_TEST_00 and execute the program.
In the output screen enter the connection as ADS and execute the program, you must see the version information of adobe forms.

Test 2:
Step 1: Go the transaction SE38 (ABAP Editor) and enter the program name FP_TEST_00
Enter the data as below and click on execute.
Choose the printer as LP01 and click on print preview. You must be able to see the output in the no of output pages given by you.
Test 3:
Enter the program name as FP_TEST_TA_01
Default input will already be there, just check for the input as below and click on execute.
Output: Go to the date field check if the F4 help is working for the interactive mode.
Test 4: Destination service check
Enter the program name as FP_CHECK_DESTINATION_SERVICE and execute.
Check the destination service with and without destination service.
Output:
If you have got the output for all the tests then the configuration for the adobe forms in your computer is working fine. We can proceed with the development of forms.
